SAG Awards 2017 Red Carpet What the stars wore

0

Could the SAG Awards red carpet be the most underrated of the awards season? We think so. Looking back, we realized that some of our favorite celebrity outfits ever are from SAG Awards: Lupita Nyong’o’s turquoise Gucci gown from 2014;Alicia Vikander’s sequined Louis Vuitton dress last year; and so many good Sex and the city and Friends cast member moments from the nineties and early aughts (spoiler: Jennifer Aniston really loved a midriff-baring outfit back in the day). And this year’s red carpet is further proof. Yara Shahidi made an understated statement (yes, that’s possible) in bold stripes by Naeem Khan, Emma Stone was her usual cool self in Alexander McQueen, and Naomie Harris did an unexpected Lanvin trouser look. Scroll down to see our picks for the SAG Awards 2017 best dressed.

ESSENCE AFRICAN STYLE

0

After many years of colonization, the whole of Africa was known as the worst continent in the world. We adapted many things and behaviors including the mode of dressing. Long ago we used to hide ourselves with strange clothing which I can’t recall the name. Copying is the greatest weakness in human being and so we did so. fashion and style came from England. Most of our fashion designers in Africa are more creative than the so called “majuu people”.

Fashion in Africa is amongst the best in the world and as a fashion blogger and an African in general am proud of all this. Am here to proof wrong to everyone who thinks that Africa can’t produce the best fashion in this universe we are living. As a Kenyan blogger in fashion and music, I appreciate all the African fashion designers and let me hope you will all join me in appreciating them and let’s support them too. The following are some of the examples that am talking about.
